Back to Basics/ trends i like

So despite the fact that i am still unemployed there have been many items I've been wanting lately. My mother and i ( yes i shop with my mother in hopes that when we get tot the checkout counter she will buy my things for me haha.) went over to Old Navy yesterday and to m suprise there were many cute items there. I used to be an old navy fan a long time ago but then went through a dry spell. Now im back haha. they have very cute V-neck tees that are almost as soft as the ones i bought at american eagle the other day. (old navy slouchy v-neck pictured on the left).

I've been finding myself buying a lot of basic tees lately. eh i dunno. i've been trying to add color to my wardrobe (which im getting better at) as well as get into the new "large florals thing". I keep seeing the cutest floral dresses but they are either too expensive or i cant find them. what do i mean by i can't find them? Below is a photograph from Forever 21 on the homepage. Unfortunately that dress cannot be found on their website. I want it so bad! It must have either sold out already (which tends to happen on their website) or maybe they are giving us a sneak peak of whats to come. I dont like being teased!

The shirt i actually did buy from old navy is on the right. i know its a bright blue which is crazy for me (classic black and white girl all the way). but spring is about color, and i've felt too winter and boring in my usual black and white. I also purchased the cutest very thin light green scarf from there but they dont seem to have the same one on their website. It's so cute, and since its saint pattys today i thought i'd wear it. :) I'm loving scarfs in spring.

Today was a pretty large post. I even want to post more but i think i'll save that for tomorrow. I'm going to try to post on here every day if i remember haha.
